Opening of NPS account is very simple process and can be easily done online with few steps
- In order to open National Pension Scheme account (NPS) online, visit NSDL – https://enps.nsdl.com/eNPS/ or Kfintech https://enps.kfintech.com/registration/
- Once the page is opened, click on New Registration and fill all requested details along your mobile number.
- You will receive OTP on your mobile and email for verification. After that fill the bank account details.
- Select your portfolio and fund. Many Funds and categories as available, select fund and portfolio based on your risk profile
- Fill in the requested information.
- You need to upload the cancelled cheque of your bank account whose details you have filled along with your photograph and signature.
- After this you can start with a minimum contribution of Rs.1,000 in National Pension Scheme account (NPS).
- After making the payment, your Permanent Retirement Account Number will be generated. Payment receipt will also be available.
- After investing, go to the e-sign/print registration form page. Here you can register with PAN and Net-banking. With this your KYC (Know your customer) will be done. While registering, keep in mind that the details you have given in the bank account should match with that.
